The latest act to take to the stage at the Kirton Town Hall Live series of concerts is the Gren Bartley Trio.

A prolific songwriter, Gren has released three albums in the last four years.

His latest album, Magnificent Creatures, was produced by Gavin Monaghan (Robert Plant, Ryan Adams, Paolo Nutini).

Gren’s song writing uses influences from the folk and world traditions to create something truly original and brings something unique to the table.

His new band line up comprises, Gren on guitar and vocals, Sarah Smout on cello and harmony vocals and Kath Ord on violin and harmonies.

The band delivers stunning harmonies, intricate string arrangements for cello and violin and driving percussion.

They have been captivating audiences across the UK and creating music that is enthralling, persuasive and masterful, whilst also showcasing Gren’s phenomenal guitar playing and poetic lyrics.

Gren Bartley has invented his own kind of music, everything about it is class.

Support at the Kirton Lindsey gig on Saturday, February 25, will come from recently formed Yorkshire trio The Sowerbees.

Doors open at 7pm, with music from around 7.40pm.
