It is hoped to bring Sleaford town centre to life with a brand-new community event.

With the RiverLight Festival being paused for a year while organisations bid for the Town of Culture scheme, on Saturday June 20, people can look forward to Sleaford Midsummer Festival.

It will feature four lively zones across the town, there will be live experiences and activities for all ages.

Expect summer sounds with Shug Studios at the Market Place, family friendly entertainment at Riverside Centre and Eastgate Green, and a celebration of local heritage at Navigation Yard.

Running from around 12pm to 6pm, the event will turn the town centre into a place to relax, explore, and enjoy the very best of local talent and culture.
