BRAEBURN LODGE STAFF TEAM WIN MARKET DEEPING RAFT RACE

Staff at Braeburn Lodge Care Home in Deeping St James took part in this year’s The Deepings Raft Race, bringing teamwork, creativity, and community spirit to the event.

The team, made up of staff members Georgia, Tony, Dean, and Marcin, volunteered to represent Braeburn Lodge in the business race on Sunday 2nd August. The team embraced the fun spirit of the event by dressing up as characters from The Wizard of Oz as they took to the water. Their enthusiasm, teamwork, and determination paid off as the Braeburn Lodge team successfully raced their way to victory, winning the business race and proudly bringing home first place.

Braeburn Lodge was honoured to sponsor this year’s raft race, supporting an event that brings together local businesses, organisations, and the wider community. The care home values community engagement and believes in building strong connections with those around them.
