Free family fun day to take place at Market Rasen Leisure Centre

Market Rasen Leisure Centre is set to host a Family Fun Day packed with free activities on Saturday, July 25 (10am – 2pm).

The centre, run by award-winning operator Everyone Active in partnership with West Lindsey District Council, will be showcasing its range of facilities to the local community.

Among the activities on offer across the four hours will be soft play, bouncy castle, badminton and pickleball, while the Everyone Active Monsters will be joining in the fun.

Instructor-led HIIT and stretch classes will be staged at 11am and 1pm, while bodypump and bodybalance virtual classes will take place at 10am and 12 noon, respectively.

Out on the 3G pitch, football drills and skills sessions for 11-15 year olds will be run throughout the event, as well as football activities for adults.

The local community can book on to activities from Friday, July 10 via the Everyone Active app or website, or in person at the centre.

While the event is free to attend, Everyone Active will be asking for optional donations to charity partner Breast Cancer Now. Donations can be made on the day via a QR code on promotional posters or collection buckets.

Kerry O’Neill, Everyone Active’s general manager, said: “We are really looking forward to welcoming the local community to this family-friendly event, which will provide the opportunity to get active and have fun.

“We would encourage everyone to come down and make the most of our free activities and meet our friendly colleagues. No matter what your age, interests or ability, there is something for you at Market Rasen Leisure Centre.”
