Lincolnshire resident receives national award for service to drug and alcohol support
Health and social care professionals from one of the country’s leading social enterprises, Turning Point, were recognised for their dedication and hard work at the ninth annual Inspired by Possibility Awards.

The event celebrates the achievements of staff members who support and help transform the lives of people facing challenges with alcohol, drugs, mental health and learning disabilities.
A total of 25 individuals and four teams collected awards at a ceremony held at the Shard, in London on Wednesday.
One of the award recipients was Jaime Hinde, Administration Team Leader at Lincolnshire Recovery Partnership.
Jaime was recognised for her truly exceptional impact across multiple service implementations at Turning Point. She played a vital role in supporting new services in Bristol, West Northamptonshire and Northeast Lincolnshire, while continuing to lead her team in Lincolnshire.
Colleagues said she brings calm, clarity and consistency in some of the most complex moments - particularly around administration, prescription management and health and safety - ensuring services are safe, effective and ready to support people from day one.
After collecting her award, Jaime said: “I've been with Turning Point for almost two years and I want to thank everyone for the support during that time.
“Being part of the implementation team has just been fantastic. I've learned a lot from all the new people that I have had the opportunity to work with across the different services that I would not have otherwise met.”
Natalie Travis, Director of Operations, Community-based services at Turning Point, said: “Jaimie approaches every challenge with positivity and a genuine can‑do attitude, always ready to adapt, problem‑solve and support others. Whether training new teams, developing resources, responding to emerging risks or stepping in on site when it mattered most, she does so with professionalism, flexibility and a constant focus on what is best for colleagues and the people we support.
“Her willingness to learn, collaborate and go above and beyond - often spending long periods away from home - has made a real difference to the success of these services.
“Her energy, resilience and behind‑the‑scenes leadership have not gone unnoticed and are deeply valued by colleagues across the organisation.”
Julie Bass, Turning Point Chief Executive, said: “These awards are all about how our colleagues bring Turning Point’s values to life every single day through dedication, creativity, and compassion.
“This year, we received an incredible 517 nominations with each one highlighting how individuals come together every single day to support people to live their best lives.
"We know our colleagues are there every step of the way offering expert knowledge and guidance to over 200,000 people we support across our wide range of substance use, mental health, learning disability, and sexual health services.
“To our winners - congratulations. You’ve inspired those around you, made a real difference to the lives of the people we support, and helped shape a culture of possibility. We’re proud of you and we’re grateful for everything you do.”
Award winners were recognised from Turning Point services from around the country, including learning disability services in Wakefield, Gloucester, Warwickshire and Cumbria; mental health services in Nottingham, Luton and Stafford; and drug and alcohol services in Lincolnshire, Hammersmith and Fulham, and Leicester.
