Mablethorpe Beach Party to set town alight

Mablethorpe's Annual Beach Party takes place this Saturday 25th July from 2pm.

The free event on central beach features a great lineup of talent, this year with an 80s theme.

Headlining are The Fizz featuring Cheryl Baker and Jay Aston (formerly of Bucks Fizz) with the addition of Nikk Mager and Matthew Pateman. They will be performing hits from across their long career including 3 number ones plus their latest single A Crazy Shot In The Dark, which is currently number one on the Heritage Chart and also made the Top 40 singles.

Main support is provided by Black Lace who have themselves sold millions of records and guarantee to bring the party to life with songs like Agadoo and Superman.

For the younger folk, Sooty and Sweep are bringing their particular style of mischief to the event. Completing the bill are the UKs top Madness Tribute ''Complete Madness'' and 80s band The Reset.

The Beach Party which celebrates the switch on of the Summer illuminations concludes with Fireworks at 10pm.
