Dales Poultry & Game had the stuffing knocked out of them at home the previous week, but they responded well and are top of the league again after thrashing 8Ten Racing 9-3.

The hosts started the season okay, but it's been downhill since and they had no answers to Gary Brown, Luke Howard and Craig Gustard as the away outfit ran riot.

Theddlethorpe Tawnys might have been thinking they had the opportunity to close in on the leadership with a home tie against lowly Kitchen Solutions.

If they did, they got it horribly wrong as their unbeaten run was ended with an 8-4 defeat.

The visitors were steaming throughout with Dan Hufton, Ryan Hodgson and Craig Young all putting the knife in as the hosts’ lone reply came from Danny Cohen, who chipped in with a 37 break.

Louth Volksworld had slightly more fuel in the tank than opponents N.T. Shaw of Louth with the defending champions clutching onto a 7-5 win as they look to drive away from the basement.

Richard Burkitt was the difference between the two sides, while the rest were earning a draw he went one better with a 2-0 victory, meaning the visitors stay in fourth place.
