Seasiders Summer Party returns to Skegness for summer 2026
Local residents, holidaymakers and day trippers are being invited to Skegness for a fun-filled summer celebration of the much-loved Seasider buses.

Stagecoach East Midlands will host the annual Seasiders Summer Party on Thursday 6 August, from 11am until 4pm, at Tower Gardens, Skegness, offering a range of family-friendly activities in the heart of the resort.
Since the Seasiders first launched in 2014, summer events celebrating the colourful characters have become a popular attraction, bringing together local residents and visitors during the holiday season. This year's event will feature a visit from Hattie the Playbus, magic shows, balloon-modelling, face-painting and Seasider prizes on the wheel-of-fortune, making it a great addition to a day by the coast.

The event will also see the official launch of this year's Seasiders Story Book, with all proceeds from sales being donated to Roald Dahl's Marvellous Children's Charity, Stagecoach East Midlands' charity partner for 2026.
Representatives from the charity will be attending throughout the day, giving visitors the opportunity to find out more about their work supporting seriously ill children and their families across the UK.
This year's story centres on the mystery of giant footprints discovered in Skegness and carries a positive message about being brave, staying curious and not letting fears stop you from having amazing experiences.
The total Seasider fleet now stands at 12: Scoop, Rocky, Sandy, Shelly, Candy, Pierre, Salty, Sunny, Teddy, Milly, Rolly and Sweetie. From the Boating Lake, past the Pier, through to Fantasy Island, Hardy's Animal Farm and all the way to Chapel St Leonards, they help visitors explore some of the Lincolnshire coast's most popular attractions.

Visitors attending the Summer Party will also be able to see the Seasiders passing Tower Gardens throughout the day as they continue carrying customers on their normal service along the seafront and around the resort.
Flexible and great-value fares make it easy for families and visitors to spend the day discovering Skegness and the surrounding coastline.
Matt Cranwell, Managing Director of Stagecoach East Midlands, said: "The Seasiders Summer Party has become a really popular date in the calendar and we're looking forward to welcoming visitors and local families back to Tower Gardens once again."
"As well as offering a fun day out during the summer holidays, we're also proud to be launching our latest Seasiders Story Book in support of Roald Dahl's Marvellous Children's Charity. It's a wonderful story with a positive message about being brave, embracing new experiences and discovering that things aren't always as scary as they first seem."

"Whether you're visiting Skegness for the day, on holiday or live locally, we hope people will come along, enjoy the event and support a fantastic cause."
