Skegness slimming expert celebrated for her excellent work helping people lose weight

A Slimming World Consultant from Skegness has taken part in a prestigious celebration day thanks to her amazing work supporting people in Skegness to live happier, healthier lives.
Jo Diamond who runs the Skegness Slimming World sessions attended the event at the company’s Derbyshire Head Office.
In the past year, Jo has supported members to achieve their target weight, a personal goal chosen by each individual, with many more now close to reaching their too.
She is hugely proud of the difference she makes within her local community.
She says: “Attending this event is an achievement for everyone in the Skegness sessions – in 2026 alone, they’ve shed an incredible combined total and the improvements they’ve seen in their health and wellbeing go well beyond the scales, too.
My members have changed their relationship with food, developed lasting healthy habits like becoming more active, seen dramatic health transformations and found their mental wellbeing and confidence improve too, plus much more.”
Jo also achieved Slimming World’s Gold and Diamond and not forgetting Group of the year award, number 1 group in the UK and Ireland - The win acknowledges her for running the best weight loss group across the UK and Ireland.

Jo and other high achieving weight loss experts were greeted on the day by some of the company’s directors and were given a behind-the-scenes tour of Slimming World’s Head Office, while also hearing about exciting developments coming up in 2027.
Jo says: “It was an absolute honour to be invited to this celebration day. It was so special meeting other Consultants like me who are working across the UK and Ireland to support people to lose weight and improve their health.”
Jo lost 12st 7lbs with Slimming World before becoming a self-employed Consultant. She says: “I gave Slimming World a try after a leaflet came through my door, I remember I was so nervous walking into my first group session, but I was met with such warmth and finally felt like I’d found a place where everyone just got it. With the support of my group, I lost weight while enjoying delicious, filling meals – I couldn’t believe it! Gradually, I even started to get more active and now I love going on long walks. It’s incredible to think how far I’ve come, and I feel proud of myself every time - which I never would have been able to do before.”
Jo’s weight loss journey inspired her to launch her own Slimming World sessions in Skegness, to help people like her to lose weight and improve their health.
“It’s so special running my own Slimming World sessions and supporting my members with their weight losses. Seeing them reach each milestone and celebrating with them is the most incredible feeling. I truly believe I have the best, most rewarding role in the world and being treated to days like this makes it even more special.”
