Beads for Beaver volunteer Claire
Grasby Beavers' Claire Wilson has pledged to wear her newly-presented wood beads '“ given to Scouting Leaders who have completed a comprehensive course of training '“ with pride.
Claire said: “I have thoroughly enjoyed my training and have learned a lot. I hope to continue to put it all into practice in the Scouting movement.
“I would like to thank everyone who has supported me during my training. I am proud to join the many leaders who wear their wood beads with pride.”
District commissioner Tony Groom was on hand to make the presentation, which was initiated by Baden Powell in 1919.
