The first meeting saw the timetable of events launched, with activities as wide ranging as flower arranging to women’s health and Sloe Gin making to raising funds in support of local women’s charities.

“For this particular WI we hope it acts as a good medium to positively develop the relationships between the local community and the military family that live within it,” said president Annabel Burgess-Durston.

“The Bluebirds WI will meet on the second Monday of each month at the Tattershall Village Hall and we welcome any ladies interested in joining.”
