Chance to dance back to fitness after new year excess


Isle Dance for Health is back with sessions coming up in Westwoodside, Epworth and Crowle.
The programme is funded by a North Lincolnshire Council Community Grant Programme and is open to people of all fitness levels.

Hide AdPeter Barnard of Epworth organises the dances, which proved highly successful when run previously using local folk dance group Lys St Georges.
He said: ““Do you feel a little unfit, lacking exercise and don’t know what to do about it? Perhaps you feel that signing up for a gym membership is not for you. If you want to try something a bit different that’s not too strenuous, Isle Dance for Health could be just the thing.”
Dates and locations for dances are as follows: January 15, 22 and 29 at Westwoodside Village Hall; February 5, 12 and 19 at Epworth St Andrew’s Church; February 26, March 5 and 12 at Crowle Pavilion, Godnow Road.
Each dance starts at 2.30pm and lasts for two hours. No experience or partner is necessary. There is a small charge of £2 per dance.
