Focus on women's health at Holton le Moor
Member Sue Normandale gave an interesting and informative talk on public health for women in the last century at the February meeting of Holton le Moor WI.
She highlighted various Acts which influenced the progress of hygiene in the home and the care of babies and mothers.
Sue also spoke about her personal experiences in her capacity as a health visitor, which spanned many years
The next meeting will be in the Moot Hall on Thursday March 9 at 2.15pm, when it will be a chance to meet the local policing team, with a talk by PCSO Dawn Cowling.
