Produce show at Ludford

This year’s event will take place on Saturday, August 20, in the village hall.

There will be six main categories – floral, preserves, vegetables, baking, craft and children’s category – with full details in the schedule.

The show is open to all residents of Ludford, as well as those of Tealby, Binbrook, Brookenby, Kirmond le Mire, North Willingham, Stainton le Vale, Walesby, Burgh on Bain and Girsby.

Entries need to be registered by August 18 and cost 25p per class.

The hall will then be open from 10am to 11.30am on the day to stage the items.

Afternoon tea will also be served at the event, which opens to the public at 2pm.

An auction of produce will be held at 4.30pm.

Donations of cakes and other goodies for the afternoon tea will be gratefully received.
