WI members visit updated hospice
May proved another good month for Binbrook and District WI.
Presentations were given on the resolutions – food poverty and dementia care in hospitals – and, after a break for refreshments, Ann Lendrum gave a talk about Denman, the WI college.
On the following Saturday, members were given a tour of the upgraded St Andrew’s Hospice by ZaZa Warren.
They stayed for lunch in the restaurant, where ZaZa and WI secretary Hilary Harris treated themselves to a hot chocolate (pictured).
