At the recent meeting of the community gardening club, speaker Tony Boughen gave a talk on Gardening for Birds.

As a lifelong gardener and photographer, his talk proved to be most interesting and was enjoyed by everyone.

Sharing his enthusiasm with his audience, he gave lots of good advice on ways of attracting more birds to the garden.

He was thanked for an interesting talk.

The summer programme has been launched, which includes visits to local gardens.

There will be a visit to Firs Farm, Langton by Wragby, on July 14, and a full day coach visit to Cambridge University Botanic Gardens on July 17,.
