I’m an SEO and trends writer for National World creating content for a variety of websites including LondonWorld, Yorkshire Evening Post and The Star. I write a range of national and regional content with a niche in arts and entertainment. Originally from Stoke-on-Trent, I completed my News Journalism MA and NCTJ at Cardiff University. I’ve spent most of my career covering Cardiff and the South East, including Surrey and Hampshire. Before joining National World, I was a journalist for SurreyLive where I covered a range of topics including breaking news, lifestyle and property pieces. I wrote about anything and everything from Harry Potter trivia to opinion pieces on Chinese New Year. I’m most proud of my health coverage during the Covid lockdown during which I wrote several pieces on how Coronavirus impacted the lives of highly vulnerable people. I’m also proud of the articles I have written on autism and Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. In my spare time, I enjoy listening to music, watching movies and day trips with my friends. A big music and pop culture fan, I love going to concerts (preferably a Taylor Swift one) and the theatre. I’m also a Strictly Come Dancing fan and love all things reality TV.
