More than 90 COVID-19 patients have now died in Lincolnshire’s hospitals
A further five fatalities were confirmed today (Friday April 24) as the death toll reached 91.
United Lincolnshire Hospitals Trust said all of those who died had underlying health conditions.

Hide AdA spokesperson for ULHT said: ““Sadly we can confirm that five further patients who were being cared for in our hospitals, and had tested positive for COVID-19, have died.
“The patients were three women aged 67, 69 and 85, and two men aged 58 and 76. All had underlying health conditions.
“Their families have been informed and our thoughts and condolences are with them at this difficult and distressing time.”
No further deaths were recorded at Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust hospitals.

Hide AdIt means the total death toll across Greater Lincolnshire has reached 143.
It comes as the number of confirmed cases in the wider county passed 1,000 yesterday.
Public health officials put the rise down to increased testing across Lincolnshire.
