Free event in Skegness to support those with medical conditions affecting their energy

Those living with medical conditions that cause fatigue and low energy can receive support at a free event in Skegness this week.

The ‘energy-limiting conditions’ event takes place on Thursday, July 23, at The Storehouse, in North Parade, from 10am-2pm.

Energy‑limiting conditions include ME, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Long COVID, Fibromyalgia, MS, cancer‑related fatigue, and Functional Neurological Disorder (FND).

A spokesperson for Every-One, which is behind the event, said: “Many people living with these conditions experience daily challenges accessing information, support, and community in ways that recognise fluctuating energy levels.

We are supporting people living with energy-limiting conditions by hosting community events this year. Together, the events are designed to reduce isolation, share practical support, and help people navigate information and services in ways that do not add to fatigue or overwhelm."

The free session in Skegness will include information and demonstrations of various means of support - from meditation, mindfulness and Tai Chi – to everyday tools and gadgets that can help those affected. There will also be a number of stalls to browse at the event.

The Every-One spokesperson added: "Pop in, connect with others, and discover support, advice and resources that may help you living with an energy-limiting condition.

“Everyone is welcome - our events are suitable for people living with all types of energy-limiting conditions.”
