NOSTALGIA: Wyberton pupils queue up for chance to soak headmaster in 1976
Sponges were flying at Wyberton Primary School’s summer fete 45 years ago, with most aimed at headmaster Trevor Thompson (out of shot).
Mr Thompson had a queue of youngsters when he took his turn in the ‘stocks’, but the event helped to raise £400 to purchase display units for the school to show off the children’s work.
