TEN YEARS AGO: Alford pupils set to compete at county level in tag rugby competition
Alford’s young sports stars shone at a tag rugby competition 10 years ago.
The youngsters from Alford Primary School (pictured) finished second in the tournament, which was held at the John Spendluffe Technical College. They only lost once – to overall winners Woodhall Spa Primary School.
Both teams would now represent the area in the county final.
