Da Capo are live in the library garden

Lincoln Central Library is launching the first of three music evenings this week in the venue's newly-created reading garden.

Visitors can enjoy a glass of wine or tea or coffee while local folk group Da Capo play live.

Nicky Grigg, library manager said: “We are delighted to announce the first of our music events and are very keen to support our local musicians and bring them to a wider audience.

“It is something we have not tried before and hope will be a great success.

The event is on Thursday, July 28 from 6pm to 7.30pm and entry is free, but there will be a small charge drinks.
