Mark Williams thrills packed crowd at the Louth Town & Country Club
Another great exhibition night as club players take on legend
A packed crowd enjoyed another Snooker Exhibition Evening at Louth Town & Country Club which featured 'The Welsh Potting Machine' and three times World Champion Mark Williams.

Calling into the club around 4.30pm for a quick practice Mark was all ready for his 10 club opponents at 7pm.
After a steady opening frame against James Heatley, Williams found his form in the next when Phil Williamson could only stand and watch the first century of the night (116).
What a moment for young Archie Pearson, who hasn't been playing that long to share the green baize with a snooker legend, who was restricted to a modest 45 break.
Jordan Kay scored 13 points which definitely proved unlucky as the second ton was hit (111).
Breaks of 72 and 44 kept Henry McSpadden seated in frame five.
Ian Winn couldn't work any magic and neither could Charlie Shaw who was hit with a 71 break.
Frame eight didn't last long as Williams fired in another century (109) against Pete Dales.
Kieron Shaw looked the part but went the way of the rest courtesy of a run of 64 while the last frame saw the World No.8 brush up a matt finish with breaks of 83 and 30, this after opponent Matt Chandler had scored first.
It was the eighth event since September 2024 and they have all been outstanding nights, Williams, alongside Lee Walker, both having time for all of the hundred plus crowd.
Sponsors of the night were Colin Darke of John Darke Ltd and Keiron Boswell of Louth To Mouth.
Steve Nuel was referee, Gordon Cummings the compere, Gary Brown provided music and scoreboard, Lynn Dixon the buffet, and Martin Smith, Kieron Shaw, Archie Pearson and Ian Winn set up up with Gary Skipworth clearing.
