Devil's Violin bring stories to life at Tealby

Traditional and ancient stories have been stitched together into one dramatic and compelling narrative - The Forbidden Door - which comes to Tealby Village Hall this Saturday, January 30.

The Devil’s Violin has been breathing new life into the ancient art of storytelling since 2006, and consists of acclaimed storyteller and spoken word performer Daniel Morden and virtuoso musicians Sarah Moody, Oliver-Wilson Dickson and Dylan Fowler.

“At times the music is like a sound-track to the stories, but at times it takes over from the storyteller entirely,” explained Sarah Moody.

“These are such powerful moments - music can make emotional connections like nothing else.”
