New fun fair featuring 50-metre tall "dog-friendly" ferris wheel to open in Skegness
The wait is nearly over for an impressive new fairground attraction in Skegness.
The new 50-metre tall ‘observation wheel’ at Seaview Fun Park officially opens at 11am tomorrow (Saturday, July 18).
Located near Skegness Boating Lake – the new big wheel features 36 ‘gondolas’ – all enclosed with air conditioning.
A spokesperson for the site said: “We’re proud to bring a brand new attraction to Skegness, giving everyone the chance to see the town from a whole new view. Standing up to 50 metres high, the wheel offers amazing views across the coastline.”

He added: “Each of the gondolas are wheelchair accessible and dog-friendly.
"The prices have been kept very competitive at just £7 adults, £6 concessions and £5 per child. Dogs go free!”
Other attractions at the park include a ghost train, ‘twister’, ‘Superbob’, children’s ride and trampolines.
The Seaview Fun Park will stay in the town for the school summer holidays, finally packing up on September 6.
