Ancholme Valley game bag of 1962

This picture from the Market Rasen Mail of 1962 sums up country sporting life.

It shows members of the South Gulham shooting syndicate who were pictur ed at Hooks Farm after an excellent morning of sport.

At that stage, the bag included 54 brace of partridge, 47 pheasants and 53 hares.

It was clearly something all ages went out to enjoy.

Does the syndicate still exist?
