The court case of a Binbrook man, who allegedly caused death by driving without due care and attention, has been adjourned until next month.

Joseph Edward Thompson, 25, of Spring Bank, allegedly caused the death of Marian Dixon, who passed away on August 12 last year, two weeks after a two vehicle collision on the B1203 at Swinhope on July 28.

Thompson had been due to appear at Lincoln Magistrates’ Court on March 17 to face the charge of causing death by driving without due care and attention, but the case has now been adjourned until next month at the request of the defence.

Thompson is now due to appear at Lincoln Magistrates’ Court on April 7.
