COMMUNITY: Food Bank

Local support for Bassetlaw Food Bank means that over 1,300 bags of provisions have been taken to the Retford base from Misterton, West Stockwith, and surrounding villages.

After plentiful donations last harvest and Christmas, the Food Bank is now in need of tins of veg, potatoes, custard, rice pudding, and meat meals; and coffee, squash, jam, rice, and toilet rolls.

Donation points are in All Saints’ and St Mary’s Parish churches.

Bassetlaw Food Bank holds its annual general meeting and afternoon tea on Wednesday, June 15 at 3pm at The Crossing, Worksop.
