Cashier in Skegness is threatened with hammer during robbery

Police are seeking help in locating two men after a cashier at a garage was threatened with a hammer during a robbery in Skegness.

The incident at the Esso Garage in Burgh Road. at 4:15am this morning (Tuesday, November 3)

The two men walked into the garage and one of the offenders held the door open while the other threatened the cashier with a hammer.

Cash was stolen from the premises but thankfully no one was hurt.

Both suspects left the scene on foot and were believed to have fled towards Churchill Avenue.

The first suspect was wearing dark tracksuit bottoms, a navy-blue Nike hooded top, black gloves and black trainers. The suspect holding the door open was wearing dark tracksuit bottoms and a black hooded top with a grey Under Armour logo on it. Both offenders were wearing face masks.
