Man arrested after reported public order incident on Lincoln–Skegness bus
Police are appealing for witnesses following a reported public order incident on a bus travelling from Lincoln to Skegness.
Officers are investigating reports of a man acting suspiciously on the number 56 service between 4.30pm and 5.20pm on Tuesday, January 20.
Lincolnshire Police said the bus was stopped following a call to the force’s control room, and a 45-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of committing a public order offence. He has since been released on bail while enquiries continue.
Police have already spoken to some passengers who were on board at the time, but are keen to hear from anyone else who was travelling on the bus during that journey and may have information that could assist the investigation.
Anyone who has not yet spoken to officers and can help is asked to contact the investigation officer by emailing [email protected].
