Manslaughter charge over death of woman outside Skegness bar is dropped
A Nottingham man will no longer face a manslaughter charge following the death of a woman in Skegness after prosecutors reviewed the case.
Minnie Jarret, 21, was injured following an incident outside Buster's Bar, Grand Parade, at about 1am on August 9. She died in hospital on August 15.
Rennforde Fletcher, 53, of St Ann's Hill in Nottingham, was later charged with manslaughter by Lincolnshire Police.
But a hearing at Lincoln Crown Court on Friday, October 23, was told the Crown Prosecution Service had discontinued the manslaughter charge against Fletcher.

Neil Sands, prosecuting, said the decision was made following a review of the evidence with senior lawyers and investigating officers in the case.
At the same hearing Fletcher pleaded guilty to two drugs charges committed on August 9.
Fletcher admitted possessing cocaine with intent to supply others on a basis that he would sell some of the Class A drug to fund his own serious addiction.
He also pleaded guilty to possessing cannabis for his own personal use.
Judge Simon Hirst adjourned sentence on Fletcher for the preparation of a probation report. Fletcher was granted bail and will be sentenced at Lincoln Crown Court on December 3.
