Police appeal after graffiti damage at cattle market

Police are appealing for the public’s help in trying to trace two people who may be able to help them with their investigation into graffiti at Louth Cattle Market earlier this summer.

A Louth Police spokesperson said: “On Friday July 24, between 6pm and 10pm, blue spray paint was used to cause graffiti damage onto the sheep pens, gates and the floors of the building.

“We are appealing for information that will identify the two men in the image. We believe they may have information that could assist our investigation.”

Anyone with information is asked to get in touch by email at [email protected] putting “crime reference 26000464250” in the subject line.

They explained: “This appeal is part of ongoing work following an increase in anti-social behaviour in the area and we take this opportunity to remind people that access to the cattle market is restricted to people who have business on the site.”
