Police investigating ‘ram raid’ at petrol station in Horncastle

Lincolnshire Police attended the scene of a reported ‘ram raid’ this morning (Tuesday) at the Boston Road Service Station, in Horncastle.

According to eyewitnesses, the incident took place shortly after 3am.

A Lincolnshire Police spokesperson said: “Incident 17 of today refers to a commercial burglary at the Total filling station on Boston Road, Horncastle.

“We were alerted to this at 3.26am.

“No cash was taken from the premises and no arrests have been made at this stage.

“A scene guard was put in place earlier today and enquiries are still ongoing.

“Anyone with any information that can assist in our investigation is urged to call 101 quoting incident 17 of May 4.”
