UPDATE: Police investigation continues today, Monday, following death of Market Rasen man

Enquiries continue today into the death of a 35-year-old man in Chapel Street, Market Rasen.

Lincolnshire Police were called to a flat on Chapel Street, Market Rasen at 8:24pm on Friday evening.

When officers arrived Ambulance staff were already in attendance. A 35-year-old local man was certified as deceased at the premises.

A post mortem examination carried out on Saturday afternoon returned inconclusive results.

Police now await the result of toxicology tests, which can take up to several weeks to become available.

Two men who were arrested in connection with the incident (aged 43 and 23) and were later released remain on police bail.

Police are not yet in a position to be able to identify the deceased man.
