In May 2010, former school worker Melanie Ann Gunn, 42, of Driby near Alford, was jailed for four months after she admitted nine charges of possessing indecent images of children and ‘extreme pornography’, including sadism and bestiality.

The former John Spendluffe Technology College employee was also placed on the Sex Offender’s Register for seven years.

Gunn appeared at Skegness Magistrates’ Court on April 12 where she admitted breaching the requirements of the Sex Offenders Register by failing to notify the authorities about changes to her banking details - namely two credit cards within the permitted three days - between June 2014 and February 2016.

She was given a 12 month conditional discharge and ordered to pay a £15 surcharge to fund victim services. She was also ordered to pay £85 in court costs.
