Plush new pavilion opens officially

Isle MP Andrew Percy did the honours following a £34,000 facelift to the well-used facility.

A grant for the improvements came from North Lincolnshire Council’s Community Grant pot established in 2011. The extension will be used by a range of community groups and sessions that are well attended by local residents.

Opening the facility, Andrew Percy said: “Here, £34,000 has made a real difference to enhancing these important community facilities. The Parish Council has a real plan to make good use of the building and their commitment really shows.”

The MP was joined by Coun Ron Allcock and community volunteers for the grand opening.
