Excess alcohol charge after car collides with house

A man has been arrested and charged with driving with excess alcohol after a car collided with a house this morning (Friday).

A Lincolnshire Police spokesman confirmed they had been called out at just after 1.30am to the house on Ropers Bridge Lane, in Sutterton.

A silver Citreon C3 was said to have left the road and collided with the building.

Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue made the building and car safe.

No-one was injured in the incident.

Ross Gallagher, 24, of Ruskington, was arrested and charged with driving with excess alcohol following the incident.

He has been bailed and will appear before Boston Magistrates’ Court on November 18.
