Going quackers for Horncastle Primary's PTA funds
The River Bain was awash will yellow ducks as Horncastle Primary School's Parent Teacher Association (PTA) held their annual fundraising duck race.
A total of 1,500 ducks made their way from Watermill Lane, round the bend and under the bridge to the delight of the large crowd, which gathered to cheer them on.
The event has taken place for more than 15 years and this time saw a record number of ducks sold, raising £813 for PTA funds.
The money will be used to fund some playground games - including skipping ropes and hoola hoops - for the children to use during their break times.
