Gympod UK had a charity month and raised money for several causes.
Private personal trainer Ross Booth of RB Fitness and the gym group said: “On October 24 we completed a charity Park Run to raise money and awareness for Parkinson's UK and St Barnabas Hospice.”
Local man Tony Harwood was the inspiration for this and they raised just over £1,000 split between the two charities.

The Gympod and RB Fitness team also took on the Stand Up to Cancer October Challenge - which was to complete ten 5km runs across the month.
“Incredibly 30 members managed to complete the challenge,” said Ross. “Five local businesses (Dip Your Paws, Bluesky Engineering, Rural 360, RB Fitness and Smartpod Modular) sponsored the challenge and pledged to donate per km run. Overall, we raised over £1,800 for Cancer Research UK.”
