The 100 in 100 Challenge began in February with the goal of recruiting 100 apprentices into apprenticeships in 100 days.

The campaign hopes to boost the presence and profile of apprenticeships and support the local economy at the same time.

Stephen Casey, head of business improvement at Rotherham College, said: “The 100 in 100 campaign is really hitting home and raising awareness of apprenticeships and the benefits they have to the local business community in particular with small and medium enterprises.”

“Our partnership with the Source is going from strength to strength and together we are well set to over achieve our target of 100 new apprentices.”

Richard Nutbrown, sales team leader for the Source, said they were ‘delighted’ at the success of our partnership with Rotherham College in ‘raising awareness of the benefits of recruiting apprentices and helping local businesses grow’.
