Have your say on North Lincolnshire Council’s spending

North Lincolnshire Council is preparing the council budget for 2016-2020 and would like to know if residents think the local authority is prioritising its spending on the right things.

Over the past five years, NLC has managed to reduce the cost of services and freeze council tax, while successfully preserving or improving the service that its customers receive.

It now wants to know what residents think of council services; including those which are valued so it can be ensured that they are available to those who need them.

Councillor Richard Hannigan, NLC’s cabinet member for Policy and Finance, said: “When we put together our budget, it’s always important that we consult with the public to find out what services are important to people and make sure we have got our spending priorities right. This consultation is your chance to make your views known and help shape the future of council services.

“Make sure you complete the survey before December 21 so you don’t miss out on your opportunity to win one of our great prizes.”

Aaccess the budget survey on the North Lincolnshire Council website at www.northlincs.gov.uk/current-consultations. The survey will close on December 21, 2015.
