Incorrect microwave setting sparks fire alarm in Spilsby
An incorrect setting on a microwave resulted in firefighters being called to Spilsby.
The local crew was alerted just after noon yesterday but the fire was out on arrival in Ancaster Avenue.
Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue tweeted that the fire involving a quantity of food had burnt itself out and said: “Caused by incorrect setting selected on microwave.”
