Ladies bring A Touch of Class to the evening at Sturton

The evening began with a short play entitled What a Sell when two sisters, played by Riny Harvey and Sue Sharpe couldn’t agree about selling their house.

Various prospective buyers were played by Doreen Hancock, Monica Marsh and Beryl Metcalfe with a maid played superbly by Sharron Banham

Creating a lot of laughter, they kept everyone in suspense until a surprising conclusion.

The programme included two songs sung by Dawn Howe and some dancing by Sue Sharpe, Beryl Metcalfe, Mavis Benson, Rebecca Allen, Clare Farrow, Margaret Schofield and Sharron Banham.

After the refreshments interval, the ladies all took part in a compilation of a story entitled Sherlock Holmes Was On The Case Because There Were Nowhere Else To Sit which was interspersed with a selection of sing-a-long familiar songs including A Nice Cuppa Tea, My Old Man, Lady in Red and many others.
