National awards for council projects

Three ambitious projects to reduce online cyber bullying, youth offending and hate crime against vulnerable groups have won a series of prestigious national awards.

The Notts County Council projects involved working with more than 1,000 young children and young people across Notts during the last 12 months.

The ‘I Pledge to Keep On Track’, ‘Cyber Bullying Project’ and ‘In Our Hands Project’ all received a National Youth Crime Beat Award commendation certificate from the High Sheriff’s Association recently.

The ‘I Pledge to Keep On Track’ has also been shortlisted in the national Museums and Heritage awards.
