The scheme is available to support businesses to ensure that they can continue to operate should the worst happen and they suffer a major disaster such as flooding.

Free devices will be available. There’ll be workshops on trading and being online, plus information on one-to-one support, business continuity support, and disaster recovery planning.

The Scheme runs from June 11 to September 30

While the support is primarily targeted at communities in areas of flood risk, any business is eligible to participate.

Councillor Liz Redfern, leader of North Lincolnshire Council, said: “The support is there for the taking for eligible businesses and aims to support those at risk of flooding, to ensure they continue to operate should disaster strike. Network security, Cloud backup and disaster recovery support are just some examples of the help available to them.

“We want, just as much as they do, to ensure they remain open for business. We know all too well the devastating affects flooding can have on businesses, particularly small and medium sizes ones that need to keep trading to survive.”
