Notts: Take a spooky walk for Halloween and support a children’s charity

A midlands charity is urging people in Notts to face their fears in a Halloween challenge that will raise much needed funds for disabled children.

Caudwell Children, the national charity that provides practical and emotional support to disabled children and their families, is appealing for people in the county to turn their worst nightmare into a fund-raising opportunity for the charity by taking part in one of two Fright Hikes in Sherwood Forest on 25th October and 1st November.

Setting off at dusk participants will walk into the pitch blackness of a 30km trek.

The route has been designed to take walkers past a high number of haunted locations, conjuring up the bone-rattling ghosts of the past.
