Oven fire in Ruskington and car fire at Martin
Sleaford fire crews were called to a cooker fire in a house in Ruskington on Saturday evening.
The incident was reported at 6.37pm on Saturday at a house on Cornwall Way, Ruskington where a fire service spokesman said there was heat damage to some food left on top of a hot oven.
○ A firecrew from Metheringham was called out later that evening at 10.32pm to tackle a car on fire on Pound Road, Martin.
Firefighters were said to have used two hose reels and two breathing apparatus to tackle the flames which investigators say probably started with an electrical fault within the engine compartment.
