Over 4,000 visit Sea of Poppies
More than 4,000 people have visited the Sea of Poppies commemoration display at Heckington's parish church in less than two weeks.
The display of over 18,000 hand crafted poppies dedicated to the 31 villagers who died in the First World War is open to the public until November 11.
“The response has been unbelievable,” says organiser Andrew Key.
