Ameya is a little sewing bee

Meet the five-year-old who is an inspiration to everyone - including her award winning mum

It probably helps when your mother is Sanyukta Shrestha, the Hagworthingham based award winning eco designer!

It appears Ameya is already showing some of mum’s skills during lockdown.

Her proud mum explained: “As a mother, this home-schooling experience has been so heart-warming and seeing my little girl’s act of kindness has been gloriously inspiring for me.

“She had so many complaints for me that she couldn’t play all day, even during lockdown, but when I explained the purpose of my work - why I am busy making PPE and masks - she not just understood but wanted to help.

“Ameya is one of the children out there contributing with their creativity and pure love and we are in awe of their understanding and willingness to help. “
