Visitors can pick their own pumpkins from two large patches – full of original orange pumpkins to specialist squashes to great gourds of all different shapes and sizes.

There are over 300 varieties grown on site, which can also be found in the covered Pumpkin Market in Bell’s Gardening Outlet along with recipe cards and display inspiration.

You can even carve your pumpkin on site and leave the mess behind.

Bell’s Pumpkin Patch is also home to the UK’s largest pumpkin cannon, the pumptastic master blaster! Families are invited to take the opportunity to fire the cannon for charity. Over the year’s £15,000 has been raised shooting wonky pumpkins across the fields.

For children there is an expanded assault course, ride on tractors, the tiny tots area, bouncy inflatable pumpkin and potato catapults, tug of war, plus garden games to challenge every family member. A bounce and climb area full of hay bales to explore and Singing Pumpkins too are all included in the admission tickets.

All ages can explore the Maize Maze or hop on board and take a ride on a guided tractor tour.

A giant pumpkin competition feature entries from hobbiest growers to seasoned horticulturists, as well local primary schools. There is a trophy – kindly sponsored by the NFU and Duckworth Land Rover.

The Makers Market returns after a popular first year, featuring local food producers, artists and craft sellers.

Circus Skills entertainer Ady returns with stilts shows, shows, ride on unicycles, balloon models and much more for children to watch and even take part in – and there is also a funfair.

Foodies will enjoy a variety of food and drink from our catering court. The event is dog friendly and the catering area will have dog bowls.

All tickets to the event are bookable at www.bellspumpkinpatch.com and you can find us at Bell’s Gardening Outlet, Lowfields Road, Benington, Boston, Lincolnshire, PE22 0EE.
